Good prep book, but definitely meant to be used as a refresher guide - there aren't any practice problems to accompany the review materials; only practice tests at the end of the book. I would give it 5 stars if it were a little more like a workbook to allow me to practice the skills as I'm reviewing them.

I used the Mometrix Study Guide for my Math 09 MTEL and was very happy with the product! I passed my Math 09 MTEL first try and can thank Mometrix's Study Guide for that.
A lot to take in when one hasn’t used these math skills in 20 years. (I have a BS in Mathematics). But overall well done!
I truly enjoy the material. The examples are great for me. The set up on how to do these problems and the test are crucial. This will be huge for me and my family if I am able to pass this exam
Book is filled with mathematical mistakes, and those are only the ones I noticed. Don’t waste your money
Not the official book. Don’t bother. The book does not closely resemble the test.
I am rating this product a 5/5.

First impression of the book was “this will be manageable with my busy schedule” this is not a bulky book nor an overwhelming size that would discourage me from studying. Right out of the gate the first section of the book goes through definition and explain the main subjects and the foundation of Math. I have only gone through the study guide once, but I look forward to marking up this book and ruffling the pages.
I am currently a middle school teacher looking to get my high school license. The study guide laid out all the subject areas included in the high school math test so I could focus my studying on the areas I needed not the ones I didn’t. I also liked the quick video links. If they weren’t enough, I was easily able to use other resources. I Knew the Trig/Discrete math would be my toughest areas and this book gave me a good starting point for all I needed to learn/work on.
